This piece looks at the internalized racism People Of Color have subjected themselves to over the years and the violence of maintaining this idea of a model minority but also being seen as acceptable by white people by pushing and punishing ourselves to be someone we are not. Ironically, it never works out as no matter what we do we will never be equals and instead we just end up hurting ourselves even more. 

in this piece, I analyze the lasting impacts of globalisation and how that functions within an ever globalized society by acting as barriers several generations later. By challenging traditional histories of Kin and Belonging, I am able to bring these new histories to the forefront.
